18 Pistons
The pistons are all in place. It was quite the operation to lift the 800 pound beasts and carefully lower them into the cylinder liners. I was surprised, but pleased to be on the piston installation team. I got the hang of it quickly and was running the hoists, guiding connecting rods into place, and of course, I got to use the big rubber hammer to make things fit. Four years of college and a rubber hammer. It all makes sense now.
