Backstage
As the picture may suggest, I am not aboard a freighter. There was a misunderstanding with the scheduling office at the fleet, so I’m enjoying time with family and friends.
I met Paul Eckberg years ago while doing youth ministry in the Minneapolis area. Paul is a talented drummer who plays a wide variety of live shows in addition to studio work in Nashville. Last night I was fortunate enough to be backstage for the Derek Webb concert where Paul was the drummer. Great music, well played, it was better than I could have imagined.
On Thursday, (11/8) Derek’s music will be featured on Grey’s Anatomy. An odd match for a Contemporary Christian artist, it will be interesting
to see how he is woven into the program.
