Photos on a Shelf

I’m done with my Christmas shopping, everything is wrapped and put away. Hiding those presents meant pushing around boxes to make room, and finding items long forgotten. Sorting through the closet shelves left me with a big smile and a handful of photos from years ago. My first instinct was to tuck them away for another decade - but then I realized they were too good not to share. They’re a window to a varied and active past, and proof that I’ve enjoyed the scenery along the journey.

Note the black high-top Cons. I traded a pair of speakers for those shoes.
Some things never change.

A friend and co-worker looked at me and said,

“These are the good old days, ya know.”
He was right.

As you freely wave your digital camera around this holiday season, be mindful that digital files can easily be distributed, and quickly lost. Print a few and put them on a shelf. You’ll enjoy finding them years from now.
