Puppy
Puppies are cute. This is a well known fact, it’s not news. However, the experience of having a puppy follow you around, play by dragging a piece of rope, and bounce about when he sees you, adds greater meaning to the definition of cute.

While I was working in the shop, he nuzzled up to my boots.

I did some wiring in the silage truck, and he was everywhere I needed to be.

What a cute little guy.

He’s most at ease while being held. This is not the ideal way to make it through the work day, but this was his first time away from mom and the other pups, so I was okay with his need for contact.

Later, I set him on the workbench and he fell sound asleep. Wow. That’s cute.

Hi Alan! Cliff pointed me in this direction, but your blog wasn’t accepting comments for a few days. I feel like a creepy stalker watching your life without saying hi. Mac is so adorable - and I’m sure a great addition to your life. Things seem to be exciting for you - and it looks like you’re in a place that you’re happy - that’s what counts.
Anyway - it seems redudant to wish you well, but I’m going to anyway. I’m down in FL now - couldn’t hack the winters - but I do miss the shift changes at MPR and getting to work with you and Cliff.
I see you have now become the dog whisperer as well as the cow whisperer. Looks like things are well despite your early taste of winter. I haven’t been in touch for what seems like forever. My sincere apologies for that. Crazy pace of life sometimes gets the best of me. Enjoy that adorable new puppy. Nothing like an innocent face to make appreciate the simple things in life.
Love you & miss you,
Mary
