I’ve just returned to North Carolina from spending time with Mom in the Gulf Shores area. We stayed in Orange Beach, which is close to the Florida state line. We enjoyed plenty of fresh seafood, visited with friends, relatives, and some of Mom’s high school classmates stopped in to see us. I enjoyed walking along the beach enjoying the sunsets and the sounds of the ocean.
Friends have asked if I saw any results of the oil spill, and the good news is that the white sands are clean and there is no oil evidence of any kind. Warm weather, good food, good times!
