I spent last week in Michigan with good friends. We laughed, ate lots of pizza and had a great time. Although it might sound like a vacation, it was a week of work at Timberwolf Lake in Michigan. We installed two new audio consoles and the best part is that there was a carpenter at the ready to make custom counter tops and cabinetry. Even more spectacular is that he grabbed rough lumber and planed it down to be exactly what we needed.
Upon returning to North Carolina, my friend Clay and I began building custom loudspeakers. He is talented in the wood shop, and I’ve done the design of the electrical components.
Support your local carpenter. They make life easier for audio folk.
Update: the speakers are done!
